Why?

Just as with manhole covers, but less often, it is possible for drain grates to “pop out” of its intended position for various reasons, which represents a significant safety risk for all road users, but more often, drain grates become the object of theft. Due to the frequent thefts of drain grates, and therefore accompanying accidents caused by falls into open drains or traffic accidents, a product was created and patented to protect the drain grate, keep it in place and reduce the accidents as much as possible.

How it works?

Drain grates protection mechanism simply and effectively solves the problem of "locking" of water and sewage drains. This product is adapted for all types of drains, is very easy to install and is extremely reliable, durable and strong. The product can be placed on pavements because it bears significant loads, and at the same time, installing this product does not reduce the drainage capacity of the drain or complicate the process of cleaning the drain.

The mechanical protection of drain grates consists of a chain made of special spring-steel, which under the action of a specific load achieves the desired elastic deformation, which is why it cannot be cut with pliers, steel anchor dowels for static structural anchoring in concrete and specially designed metal plates with wedges for fastening it to the drain grate. Also, there is another product that we offer that implies a slightly different system which also extremely successfully solves the previously defined problem. This solution consisting of a specially designed stainless-steel screw with an eccentric head, a stainless-steel plate, a cross bar and a protective rubber.
